Matte screen for MacBook?

Hi all -

I'm considering purchasing a Mac notebook. I'm having to do a lot of work at the office, on the work laptop. (Windows or Linux, enjoy!) A refurb MacBook is a good fit for me in terms of cost, size, and durability. However, I can't hang with the glossy screen. Hate it, hate it, hate it. Is there a company that makes matte overlays for the MacBook? I've googled but with no luck.

i doubt it.

however, keep an eye on the apple store refurbs. the Core Duo MacBook Pro 15" was going for as low as $1300.

I was really apprehensive about the glossy screen myself; got a MBP with one and I've not noticed it, honestly, when doing normal work.

However, I do notice it when watching DVDs or viewing iPhoto things; gorgeous. And glare is not the issue some make it out to be.

As always, TEHO & YMMV.
