I was about to give Peacock the chop after hitting the end of a $1.99/mo deal and getting booted back to the $7.99 price. Took a quick look around Slickdeals and found a heads up that if you're a subscriber and try to cancel, there's a good chance they'll throw a $1.99/mo for 6 months offer at you.

Just tried it, and it worked.

Sounds good so I checked my current subscription: I got in on a previous $20/year deal which is good through the end of May '25.
