There have been a few times where everything looks good, I try to post and cannot, and only then notice that my name isn’t listed as “logged in.” A trip to the other side may show me as logged in, however, or not. A log-out followed by a log-in fixes whatever the issue was (until the next time). It doesn’t seem to matter if I have been actively lurking or not—it just happens.
