First World Network Problems...

Is there a quick way to see my IP address in Sonoma?

In Sierra and Monterey, it's one, or two clicks max.

In Sonoma it's four or five, I don't recall.

Screen sharing with three computers means I have to keep updating the IPs.

I'm not doing static a IP, if it's even possible.

My connection drops at the modem not the router, about every 6-7 days, sometimes a little longer, and I have to restart the modem.

So I have to update the IPs in Screen Sharing, and it would be slight less tedious and a lot less annoying if I didn't have to go through shale to see it in Sonoma.

Try loosening then tightening the coax cable at the modem. If you have splitters before that do the same there..

Is the modem in a cabinet or shelved with little air circulation?

Sometimes they overheat.

...

Regarding IPs, why can't you give each device its own IP address? Just stick to the same range as the other devices on your network.

Since you aren't using a static IP address, you should check your DHCP lease length (the length of time your router will allow you to use your network IP address before it expires and must be renewed (or a new IP address assigned to your device by the router).

System Settings->Network->WiFi->(your wireless network)->Details...->TCP/IP->Configure IPv4 is 'Using DHCP' then click 'Renew DHCP Lease' and 'OK'

Thanks for that information.

I followed the links but didn't click OK at the end.

There was no indication of lease length.

Was that because I didn't click OK?

I didn't because that might mean that I have to find the new IPs for each of my shared computers.

That's not a big deal, if I have to I will, it's just doing it so much has made it a bit of a chore.

I think that DHCP lease length is set by the router (which is running the DHCP server). For that, you have to login to the router itself (the IP address is shown above the 'Renew DHCP Lease' button in the TCP/IP panel).

The actual value is in the router DHCP page, but defaults are usually 5-7 days (so that no device is holding the assigned IP address permanently, starving potentially other devices from getting an address).

The router will let you split static IP address space from the DHCP address space, and you can give your device a static IP address and avoid DHCP lease expiry/renewal issues. The router manufacturer will describe the setup in the user manual. (Plus what the default password for the router admin account is, or where it can be found on the router).

I hope this some help.

I'm using the last Gen AEBS and last I looked, there not a lot of granularity in the settings.

AirPort Utility User Guide

Never owned an AirportExpressBaseStation myself. But I did find the above link among DuckDuckGo search results for 'DHCP lease setting in Apple Airport Express Base Station'

Hope it's of some help...
