I am not an expert in ICE, this is the first time I hear about anything like this

It looks like a design to try and get emissions down without a lot of the current technology used for that purpose. I wonder though if the HP and torque would be compromised a bit by this design.

I'd love an ICEmobile that didn't eventually need emissions testing every two years.

Maybe there's a state where climate change doesn't exist and they don't care about emissions.

According to the video, both are superior to conventional ICEs.

I remember the RX-7 and the Hercules.

At the time I think the downfall of the Wankel was excessive emissions, or failure to meet increasingly strict requirements.

Minnesota doesn’t require inspections either. The Twin Cities used to but almost all vehicles passed so Minnesota ended the program.
