earnings 10/31. I'd bet AAPL gets higher than 240. But then a drop after earnings.

It always amazes me, that AAPL will have its earning, and they beat the expected, and still they drop. Wife gets her RAV4.... yeah....

Glad I saw this thread.

I was waiting for AAPL to hit $230 before making a contribution from my investment account to my charitable account. I was able to make the transfer at $234, so still above my target.

If it drops back to the mid $220s, I'll add some AAPL to my retirement account.

I used contributions to a Donor Advised charitable Fund to eliminate capital gains taxes on some very early AAPL stock. Almost all of my remaining stock is in a tax-deferred IRA, so not as big an issue.
