spouse went to Walgreens for a passport photo and ephoto.
ephoto never came.
on the phone with manager 4 or 5 times trying to do his best.
no joy.
call CS 800. back and forth to the Philippines and US clueless CS people.
Multiple hang-ups and transfers without saying a word.
now we know better.
Found out our local USPO will do photos as well as the app.
Perhaps that is national.

Walgreens can kiss my shiny metal a$$!
May the stock, WBA, continue to circle the drain.
Sorry if you or yours have a job with them. We do.
Walgreens sucks.

k, I'm done.

Walgreens @#$%&'d some prescriptions for us recently. They seem to have lost the bubble there. It's quicker to go over to Costco.

Sent the wife to a local camera place that charges only a few bucks more than Walgreens. They knew the rules and worked with the wife to get a 'good' photo.

The USPS around here needs needs an appointment to anything passport related.

Not all USPS offices do passport paperwork. From what I can tell, if they do passports, they do photos. The woman who handles passport apps at my PO is AWESOME. Very easy going and thorough. She helped my son get his first adult passport. She reviewed everything to make sure that there weren't any issues.

Side rant: I'm not sure why someone who has had youth passports all their life has to do in-person to get an adult passport.

There are post offices where they take passport photos?

Yes.

They charge a fee, but it for those offices, it's one stop shopping.

I got my photo at AAA, because it was free — well, included as one of the benefits members already pay for.

Things might've changed since my experience. A few years ago, I made an appt and went to the local post office to apply for my kid's passport and take the photo. The worker came out from behind the counter and took the photo in the lobby against a wall. The camera they used was an instant camera. No digital file. The OP of this thread may be dissapointed again since it was the missing digital file that ticked them off. I might be wrong, the post didn't have many details.
