On the base mini, an extra 16GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD = $600, so you're just buying the RAM and SSD and the rest of the mini is FREE!

you actually save $1 by buying 2 base minis vs upgrading to 32/512. Kind of silly...

The 24/512 config at the Amazon link above (don't do it) is $1008, but it also gives you 12/16 cores (up from 10/10).

Hmmm, I just noticed the Amazon link is for a non-Pro M4. Another reason not to buy from Amazon. Then again, M4 Pro models are pretty pricey.

Apple'a Mil/Vet Store has the 24/512/mP4 for $1259 + applicable sales tax + 3% Daily Cash.

B&H is $1399 + applicable sales tax or 'tax-free' with PayBoo.

For me, sales tax is 10.75%, for the time being.

Apple says it's 3% Daily Cash on purchases, but I don't know if that's the OTD price or on the price of items alone.

A quandary for another day.
