Happy Anniversary to the MacResource Forum!

Friends,

Nineteen years ago today (2005), the MacResource forums came into existence!

Thank you, Larry, OWC, and all of the folks who have made this forum a source of fun and learning for so many of us, for so long!

Thanks to the OWC gang from here too! I try to return the favor often by always going to OWC first whenever I'm in need of a bit of hardware.

I marvel at the idea that this tiny community, born merely of an interest in solution seeking for early Mac computers, has blossomed into a fairly close-knit friendship between so many people scattered across the (mostly western) world. I've only ever met one fellow MR member (Markintosh, who I went skiing with last season) but I feel like I know many of you quite well.

I agree that it's become so familiar that I can easily spot many posted subjects and know the poster before I see the name (true on my phone because I must scroll across the screen).

19 years already? Seems like just yesterday. I registered on 12/9 and never looked back. Really happy the OWC folks didn’t look at this as just a way to make money, although I have sent several thousand dollars their way over the years.
