iPod headphone jack fried- can it be repaired?

My niece has a 2nd gen (I think) mini and she can no longer hear anything out of any set of headphones she has tried. She can the iPod plays when it is in the dock.

Can the headphone jack be repaired/replaced?

Yes. That is a small plug in board. Easy fix.

I was hoping to hear from one of the OWC crew! Jamie, can you guys do that? PM me with the charges and your hours. She just got her license and I am sure she would be happy to take a ride to Woodstock from the northern 'burbs.
