They only have 4 RAM slots so it might just be the basis for an iMac. No FireWire 800 controllers but two eSATA ports should more than make up for that. I think the worst news is that it uses another type of RAM, DDR3.

This is not a Xeon mobo: this is a mobo for a Mac that Apple has yet to make: a midrange tower system. It's the successor to today's Conroe CPUs and their related mobos, which Apple is regrettably not doing anything with.
