... photographic or near photographic quality?

I'm thinking of ditching my Epson 1280. Nothing really wrong with it, I'm just thinking/wondering if it's time to make the shift to a color laser, now that some of them have really dropped in price; or if they're still not really up to snuff as far as photographic-level quality is concerned.

I'm really, really happy with my Phaser 6180!

I don't do a lot of photo printing though. I'd say it's near-inkjet quality for the ones I have printed. Flesh tones are a bit weak; I'm sure that's fixable but I don't have the color knowledge to do it. The glossy toner looks great on plain paper.

You can request a free print sample to see the quality. The samples are professionally prepped, obviously, but are representative of what you can expect from the printer.
