Looks like UPS did put their collective backs into it and delivered the Wii from ToysRUs a day early. It was scheduled for delivery on Friday, but it arrived toady. It took about two weeks from order to delivery, but since they are still no where to be found in the stores around here, I guess that wasn't too long. I haven't opened it up or played with it yet, but it is here, finally!

That's great! Two weeks isn't really so bad if you think about it, we are just getting so used to things happening very quickly these days. Although I can say that because it wasn't me who was waiting for the Wii.

Is the toady Wii more funner than a stock Wii?

I gave up on the Wii for the summer. I wanted one last Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, and April. The stores were still out of stock, and I grew tired of waiting.

I'll start a new search when we hit the cold months.

I knocked the Wii when they named it that. I also thought it was pretty lame compared to its competitors.

But having played it and its competition, not even being a console fan to begin with, and having seen it played at large LAN parties... it really is a winner.
