I have been using Super Duper for years now. On Saturday I had my first problem.

Tech support was outstanding. I got a series of very fast responses that guided me through the problem.

It is great when things work well as SD usually does. Handling problems quickly and easily is the acid test of a great product.

Pip, I've also had fantastic support. One time it was on a Sunday at 10 AM EST and I had an answer within 15 minutes! I don't expect it to be like that all the time, but it was great support.

There was folder that was corrupted. Deleting the folder did not seem to work. The problem was compounded by an alias that was now broken. Spotlight did not show any signs of the alias. I was not clever enough to read the logs in sufficient detail.

Ha! I just looked up Shirt Pocket and it turns out that I know the founder. Hm. Small world indeed.

Solution was to delete and reinstall. Worked perfectly.
