I got this at LNT about four months ago for $50. It is very nice.

The drawbacks:

1. We find the radio reception to be a bit weak, no matter how we position the antenna wire.

2. Our tivo remote menu button turns it on. This is annoying (but no fault of iHome)... just annoying.

Really, it is a nice unit. The watching the ipod slide in and out is cool.

I saw those when I went last week and am very tempted. It looks like you bought one. Have you hooked it up yet? I'd like to know how it sounds, how well the FM works, etc. I have a galley kitchen and am not sure how well it would perform with the angle of the rooms.

I've only plugged it in to make sure it works. But, the sound is good and reception of FM & TV channels was solid. I too have a galley kitchen, sometimes reminds me of when I lived on a boat

I have the iHome clock radio and iHome2Go. Love them. Good products.

I think I paid $89 for ours...at Sam's, too. Or, $79...something like that.
