emac 1.42 refurb

just arrived. Mercifully the kids pc (a hand-me-down from grandpa) died recently. I thought a new computer would make a nice Christmas gift for the kids. I would have loved to get a g5 imac, and may regret not, but as it's in the kids playroom I know it will get knocked around a bit and thought the emac could take a little more abuse. I know it will get in the way of flying pillows, if not worse. Can't wait to see their faces Christmas morning (and mine!)

Too bad you can't buy these any more:

Then the kids wouldn't need to throw the pillows around!

"Every single terrible thing you see on Facebook — be it some sort of horrible right wing nonsense or a confusing and annoying product decision — is made in pursuit of growth. Every bit of damage that Meta has caused to the world has been either an act of ignorance or deliberate harm, at many times tweaking the product to make it harder or more annoying to use so that you will log onto Facebook or Instagram multiple times a day and spend as much time on there as possible." That eMac is a great machine and, given the environment you described, absolutely the right choice.

It is what it is.
