In my Gmail account, as of yesterday I was getting maybe 7 messages that were SPAM per day. This morning I had over 300. It's weird though because almost all of them were "delivery failure notifications" or some other kind of email status reports. Looks like one huge block of fake messages that didn't get through that I am somehow being notified of.

No matter, just deleted them all. Gmail does filter pretty well, so only a couple made it to my inbox.

And here I thought they got the "SPAM King"...

What you got today is not technically SPAM, but notices of SPAM that was attempted being delivered to other users using your email address in it's return (i.e., spoofed). This is most likely caused by someone with a Windows machine who has your address in their mailbook being invaded by a worm. Nothing much you can do but delete them, as you have.

Have you hooked up with any Yahoo games or sites lately? They are spam magnets. I hate that company.

I did and it stopped that kinda activity for me.

I just looked in my Junk mail folder, I'm getting less now than ever. There's only 10 in there
from the last 30 days. I get about 30-50 emails per day.
