okay, do not show the Wii Fit trailer to my son! he's already trying to convince me he'd (we'd) get so much more exercise if i would just get him (us?) a Wii.

Have seen the news articles about the use of the Wii in nursing homes? The folks there
love them and it's getting them on their feet and moving around.

yes, unbeknownest to him, i have seen may of those articles. i actually would like to get a Wii. it's just that it opens up another electronic slippery slope and is one more thing to argue about. of course, it is also one more bargaining chip - which is how i justified to myself allowing him to get a psp.

the draw of the Wii is that there are games that involve physical movement and it seems like the experience is much enhanced by sharing it with other carbon-based units.

Yeah, get it. I got mine a month ago and play it a couple times a week, and I only have one game (Sports). That Godzilla looks AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope they make a real auto racing game for it like Need for Speed, etc.

release dates set for more games too even previous announced but metroid prime 3 got some hands on time by wii.ign.com and a date for "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" was set. Can not wait.

My kids daily ask to do their "fitness" on wii sports. Wii fit will be cool.

I'm a little concerned about how limiting it will be having that size pad. perhaps you will be able to combine multiple pads at some point for some more action?

I wonder if the pad will be durable enough for running in place.

On Godzilla, I wonder if you play as Mothra this time?
