As of market close today, my AAPL shares are up slightly more than 1,000%

Too bad I don't have a lot of shares.

I read where it's going to 200.

I've sold some, bought on a dip, sold some more, bought on a dip, and am now holding...

My portfolio currently shows up 102%, but with the sells and buys, I'm up probably 5 times that.

Unfortunately, like Lux, I have only a few shares (double digits).
The heart was willing, but the wallet was poor.

Still, up 102% is darn nice! (well, again, probably more like 500% if I sat down and figured in my buys and sells...).

I only have a "few" shares as well.
I had the dough, but no heart.
Mostly just invested for the "fun" of it.
Man is it ever fun.

I on the other hand sold 1400 shares of Apple at $15.xx to buy into Sun Micro at $16.xx and now I got a big steaming pile of SUNW at $5.37! Anyone want me to manage their portfolio??? Hmmmm....do ya?? I didn't think so...gdamn poor stupid suminabitch. But i wouldn't feel right if i didn't pay more than my fair share.

Hey, I have a bunch of SUNW stock I purchased after a poorly-timed AAPL sell, too!

I'll commiserate...

I sold half of mine and bought a B&W G3 rev 1 and a honkin big 21 inch Apple monitor.
I had extra zeros to invest. No ba!!s.
I wouldn't be working now if I had.

I walk by that (G3) every day like Jack drives by Sun.

Working in computer support back when Sun was up and Apple was low, I saw where Sun was headed. And it became that by 2003, a nice bargain at $3 a share that might eventually recover. Well, 4-5 years later it has managed to get back up over $5. Just wish I had the money available then to have put it into Apple, I saw how fast the iPod was getting picked up by the college students around me.

16% here. Of course I only bought my first stock ever in June and Apple is doing by far the best out of the 15 or so I picked.
