11.3.5?

Decide to take a miss on 11.3.6...? ;)

To be fair, released on July 10th.

Faster startups was the key information I was passing along. Thought nothing would happen until new version came out.

I've been experiencing numerous inexplicable quits when I try to open an email message in Entourage, since I added the latest updates for both my Apple software and Entourage.

It's a real PIA and I don't know what to do???

Suggestions?

Thanks for your thoughts,

GeneL

Sorry GeneL, I don't use Entourage. Maybe someone else can help with this.

I used to use Entourage but have switched to Mail. My email needs are limited and can use Mail on more than one computer at a time on my network.

I didn't see any speed improvements, slbett.

Faster startups was the key information I was passing along. Thought nothing would happen until new version came out.

on a couple PPC machines (Mac mini and eMac) I recently upgraded I noticed a much quicker launch time... 5 to 10 seconds from 30 to 40 seconds. But since I upgraded to BOTH 11.3.5 AND 11.3.6 at the same time, not sure which was responsible.

Actually my above post was an oblique comment on how inane it is that 11.3.5 wasn't rolled in to the 11.3.6 upgrade the way Apple does with their combo updates. In this case the 11.3.6 update is not "available" until you install the 11.3.5, and THEN you have to check again immediately for more updates. Kind of silly.
