FYI: In case you are thinking about a PC laptop

I was at Circuit City looking at a Toshiba and the clerk said they had been having problems with the Acer brand they they were selling.

Why are they keeping them on the shelves? I asked. No answer.

I know some of you get PCs for family so I thought I'd pass this along. Don't know if Acer makes DTs

What 'problems' were they having with the Acer beyond the commission ?

Circuit City employees do not make a commission, also called a spliff, they do get sales incentives which are far from a commission. My Nephews sales team (4 whole people) did over $450,000 in video/audio sales over the XMAS period, they each got a $200 CC Gift Card.

Acer has a contract with CC, that is why they are on the shelf.
