Mail from 10.3 in 10.4?

Hi -

I much prefer the interface (and standard .mbox storage) of Mail from Panther. However, when I copy the app and try to run it in Tiger, it just bounces and then stops. No window, no launched application. Is there a way around this? I'm stuck in 10.4 due to my love of OmniWeb.

Thanks -

10.4 mail stores as .mbox format. Unless I'm looking at it incorrectly, that's what's on my hard drive.

There was no change in the way mail is stored from 10.3 to 10.4.

You are very wrong about that.

If that were true, there wouldn't have been so many nasty problems bringing panther mail into Tiger Mail. Of course, if Tiger Mail had been a better, more robust "upgrade", there wouldn't have been so many nasty problems, either…
