Valentine's Day present--My wife is cool.

My wife decided that she didn't want any over priced flowers for Valentines Day.

She bought "us" a 30GB iPod video instead. I sure hope I get to use it on occasion.

Congratulations, but...

Be careful; be very, very careful.

I'd get her some regular (non-rose) flowers at the very least.

Hehehe. I hear you, I hear you.

She also said I could "make her a card" instead of buying one.

I think a few carnations and a store bought card will keep me in the safe zone.

If she really loved you, she would have bought the 60GB.

however -- the 30 gig is thinner -- which is a bonus...

Nah, the 30GB is sexy/skiny. The 60GB is too FAT.

Oh, she also got it in black which makes it even sexier.

Roses, unless she likes carnations. Or something interesting.

Never - NEVER forget a card with something nice written by you inside. One year remembered the roses but forgot the card and heard about it for weeks. Another year I had made a card ahead of time , got slammed by a major deadline on VDay and I wasn't able to get out to get the flowers - she didn't care, she had what she wanted - that 'stupid' card. Go figure.

It's not the card, it's the time and thought you spent on it.
