Gratitude. Kudos. Thanks all.

I've been asking how-to questions to many of you for years, first over at Dealchat, and now here. While plenty of these Q&As were just interesting and fun to do for someone who runs an home-based office, most of them in fact dealt with trying to forward my business and dreams and vision.

Well, every once in awhile the vision becomes reality, and yesterday, the first 6,125 copies of my third (and probably final) book arrived at the warehouse. Almost 3 years in the making, it took probably 1500 or so questions, from Word, to the Finder, to hardware, to Entourage, to InDesign... I mean the amount of decisions and details required to get to those 6,000 finished books is mind blowing. Some of you actually had your hand in its finished design, from medical anatomy drawings by one of your wives, to InDesign layout by kajot, and on and on and on. Even the final book manufacturer choice came from one of you.

I am grateful beyond words. The finished book is beautiful. Many, many thanks.

I'm trying to set up a MacResource discount on my 1ShoppingCart. Once I figure it out, I'll post the way to get to it here.

Fantastic accomplishment tugger...you're my Hero!

Congratulations! Being a writer also, I know what it takes to get a project like you've done finished. It's a life altering experience to go through, one that is impossible to explain completely because it's so intricate, so much a part of oneself.

Your book's cover looks delicious! Hmmm, makes me want to go down to my local health food bistro and order up something really tasty right now! A Vegan masseuse friend will want a copy of your book also, so I'm really glad you've posted it.

Best of luck with it!

Cool. This comes at about the time that over the last two months I have stopped eating so much processed foods and started eating more grains and greens. I just need to get more bulk, but I have already lost a lot of weight.

The sociologist, and historian, Adam Ferguson described the phenomenon of spontaneous order in society as the "result of human action, but not the execution of any human design".
