I've never seen one and my six kids don't know anyone with one. With all the NBC-Apple-Amazon news the last few days, I was just wondering. I would never pay to download a TV show but why would anyone pay to download for a TiVO when you can record it for free. Also, how many Play For Sure video players are out there and aren't they more money? Doesn't seem like a good move on NBC's part even with their new store coming online in several months. Me thinks this was planned out for some time since the Amazon deal is came about so soon.

It's worth it for us to buy a seaseon. My wife is a big 'Closer' fan, she's not home on Mondays, and I'm ususally not around for it when it starts either. The timer on the VCR is flaky. I can't see spending $300 for a Tivo and then a $13/month fee just to get a few TV shows. We decided to get the show from iTunes. It's worked out nicely, iTunes tells me the show is available, it gets downloaded and we can watch it whenever we want. My thoughts may change when I get my mini and EyeTv 250 online, but for now, buying a show makes sense.
