Tried to make a call a few minutes ago and the line is dead.

Anyone else have no service with Vonics today? I called their 2 phone numbers on the contact us page: 1-866-489-3520 & 1-866-603-5590 and both are disconnected.

First Sunrocket and now Vonics? Does anyone have a phone number to call them?

I was getting very good quality (as of last night) but I am looking for a VOIP carrier, NOT VONAGE, that would be suitable.

If Vonics is in fact dead, what VOIP carrier would you recommend?

I signed up with Net2Phone from Sunrocket. Good quality service (especially after tweaking QoS settings) and was able to use my Sunrocket gizmo. Not sure if they are still offering the deals for abandoned Sunrocket customers.

Have you tried sending a request to through the support web page at support.vonics.net?

Have you tried resetting the equipment (power off, power on)?

I am using Nuvio with my SunRocket gizmo... not the cheapest, but good quality service so far.

I have sent them a request and now their 2 numbers are working (that were, just 20 minutes ago, not in service), but I still have no dial tone.

I am going out for a few hours and hopefully this will be resolved by the time I am back.

I've been using iconnecthere.com for a couple years now with no problems.

Yep.... happened to me too. Happened also in mid-Aug (I signed up Aug 1. Not only was dial tone dead for about 1.5 hrs, but Vonics' website was down too. Their CSrv # number worked, but long wait, so I quit. Dial tone did come back shortly, and Voicemail WAS working while all else was down , so not a total disaster. I'm not worried (yet). .

TOO BAD.... Vonics would do well by posting acknowledgment info re these problems on their site and sending emails to its customers.
