I've seen a lot of games - and this was certainly an INCREDIBLE finish to the regular season.

What in the world happened to Trevor Hoffman? The guy was Mr. Automatic before tonight!

GO CUBS!

Wow. Sweet.

I think this is the best they've ever done, but I'm by no means sure.

Glad to see Denver's got some sports team that's actually doing something.

UGH.

We expect this of the Aztecs.

Amazing - makes it worth watching the playoffs even when your team blew up during the regular season!

I am not pulling for either team but I don't think that guy touched the plate at the end.

I am not pulling for either team but I don't think that guy touched the plate at the end.

Giles’ throw home bounced in front of catcher Michael Barrett, who couldn’t hold on as Holliday swiped the plate, then lay face-down after cutting his chin with his headfirst slide. Umpire Tim McClelland made a delayed safe call, and replays were inconclusive on whether Holliday touched the plate with his left hand or was blocked by Barrett’s left foot.

Another interesting call.

If Garrett Atkins’ seventh-inning blast to left field should have been ruled a home run Monday night – and indications are it should have – it certainly isn’t the first time Rockies have had a would-be round-tripper reduced to a double.

Looking forward to many happy people at work tomorrow.

Bink.

Hoffman also blew the save this past Saturday in Milwaukee. A win there and they were in the playoffs.

Hoffman's toast. 84MPH fastball? They fired David Wells for that back in August.

The Rockies?!? Didn't they move to NJ in 1982 and become the Devils?
