How would anyone know? As for steel vs wood.... wouldn't that
require digging it up?? Of course, I'm talking about outdoor use, not
indoor use, like I would use it for.

Be creative...

plywood on top, drape table cloth over it, and you have a coffee table. And one whose top can be pivoted/opened and store your photo albums inside.

I get it. She's always wanted a grandfather clock. I can set it upright, open the top and put a clock in there. Voila a grandfather clock!
