cd-r's and cd-text capable players

I have one of those nifty Sony cd players that is cd-text capable. This means that it will display all kinds of information that is encoded into the cd and each track. Is there any way to fake this when burning your own cd-r's?

Rather than fake it, why don't you use Toast, check off the box for CD Text and burn a legit CD Text CD?

I found out about that, but in my preferences, there isn't an option for cd-text that I'm seeing. Toast 6.0.3

why not update from 6.0.3 to a higher version?

i know at some point Toast updates remove the ability to burn protected files to audio CDs.

That's exactly why I have chosen not to upgrade at this point.
