Anyone like the results from using silver inkjet printable CDs?
I've been using the white ones with great results but have a client who wants a red with silver lettering CD.

Thanks
Rain

i actually prefer the silver to white. however, the last batch i bought had hub printable and the surface around the hub has a different texture so it looked weird. i think white hub printable wouldn't have that difference.

red with silver lettering will require you to print the entire disk with red ink except the type. Charge extra and allow for the time to cover the entire disk, and have lots of carts handy.

How many do you have to do?

Isn't it easier, better, cheaper to send them out and get a commercial thermal print or something from a duplicator?

Once the quantity hits about 10, I'm outsourcing like a shot.

who have you been using?
The folks who come to me for 50-500 discs tend to need them within a few days time.
(I built a 1-7 burner about 4 years ago and use a pair of printers)

i need about 10 max when i have a conference coming up. other than that it's one-offs. doesn't make sense to outsource for those numbers.
