Tomato vs [DD-WRT]?

Does using Tomato on a compatible router allow one to increase RF output power as [DD-WRT] does?

I've done some reading on both (I'm considering flashing a Buffalo WHR-G54S) and I don't see anything about increasing RF output with Tomato.

From the reading I've done so far, it looks like Tomato's strong suit is the UI.

Here is the interface (under ADVANCED --> WIRELESS):

4th from bottom is where you can tweak the transmit power.
