I just installed Leopard on my Macbook, and it is at a stage that says DO YOU HAVE ANOTHER MAC or volume hooked up on a firewire drive, and you can transfer information from it (Another Volume)... has 4 choices. Is this where I do the migration. I thought someone said after install I reboot, and then do the migration option.

Thanks, will leave at this stage, need to go to Pharmacy and get 4 prescriptions filled, wife just had some dental surgery.

Thanks, When I return will finish install...

Can Disk Utility make a backup image to another HD? I want to make sure I have an image of Leopard with all the updates before I do migration. I suppse I could use super duper, but I would have to install it first, or maybe I could launch it from the other backup... will give it a try. I saw that I could to the migration thing later, using the Migration Utility....

Yes to migrate later and yes to DU making a backup. Use Restore.

I think I will just put an OUT OF ORDER
sticker on my head and call it a day.
