I get a very quick response on all other sites when I click on the "back" button to go back a page or two. On this forum I initially have about a two second pause and then get a beach ball for about one second.

Any idea how to eliminate this delay?

Have you tried a different browser to see if it still happens?

Sounds like a safari problem.

I understand the attempt at humor, but outside of a new powerhouse computer, how can it be a Safari problem when I do not have the problem when I visit other sites???

No, I have not tried another browser yet. Will do that now, but Safari is preferred and I don't see why it should only happen on this forum. It works fine on the regular MacSales.com site.
