Did you do something special for your valentine?

I didn't.

Too many long hours at work. I really didn't feel like going out.

It will probably cost me a small fortune to get rid of the guilt.

Just like the time I forgot her birthday. That wasn't pretty.

I sit on a man’s back, choking him and making
him carry me, and yet assure myself and others
that I am very sorry for him and wish to ease his
lot by all possible means — except by getting off
his back. - Leo Tolstoy, novelist and Philosopher
(1828-1910)

You bad bad man.

Ordered. Tullips (something different)

Staying home with the wifee and two boys. Ordering Ciros Pizza with salad and Wine.

We decided (a long time ago) to not go out on Valentines day because it gets so crowded, its not even funny.

You forgot her birthday? Does she have one of your nuts encased in lucite on her keychain now?

I showed up at her work with a personally delivered flower arrangement, and swapped cars with her so I can replace her heater core, thus saving her hundreds of dollars, and allowing her to safely drive home tonight.

If I don't get something out of this, I'm gonna be pissed.

save yourself the effort; just give her a couple of these:

Keith Urban Concert last Sunday
Flowers (irises and lillies)
DQ ice cream cake
Grey's Anatomy Season 1 DVD's

Extra nice this last year of singlehood; and she's in her architecture thesis right now which means no extra time and loads of stress.

RacerX,
Replace the heater core?
I hope she realizes what a pain in the butt that is!
She should bring you a couple of her cute girlfriends to help her out tonight!

Not too bad on her Topaz by the look of it, and the Chiltons book.

If it were on my A/C equipped GSX I would demand a whole week of special favors for the effort. But since I own it, I guess I will take care of myself......if it ever need replacing.

Because it will cost you a small fortune. That is why you have to put in many long hours. And she knows it grinning smiley

We had a lovely meal of antelope, jicama salad, camp bread, and beer.

Edit: Oops, wait, scratch out "beer" and put in "Dr Pepper." And get on the horn with MSNBC, pronto!

Trader Joe's bouquet, Abuelito chocolate as gifts, and home cooked soy pasta. She loved it!

Roses from Costco, nice mushy card, and pulled out a "gift in reserve" when I saw she had something for me.
