Daily Worthless Poll: Pepsi or Coke?
Posted by: Stavs
Date: February 15, 2006 07:10AM
Starting off my boring day and had this thought in my mind:

What is your favorite cola?

I vote for Pepsi, and I am one of the few who enjoyed New Coke/Coke II/Coke's Biggest mistake ever

As Lux said Royal Crown Cola is the best by the taste test, even Meathead thinks so.

I don't really care, but Pepsi seems to leave a nasty film on my teeth sometimes, so I'll vote for Coke.

They both dissolve your teeth, so I wouldn't worry about the film.

Mountain Dew, if I am going to drink crap I want it to wake me up!

But of the two you mentioned I'd pick Pepsi. Coke has too much bite.

Coca Cola. Not diet. Much as I love Coke, I'm only allowing myself one a week because, sadly, soda is not a very good thing to drink.

Stavs,

Neither. Both are crap. But, if I had to choose between the two, I'd go with plain ol' Coca-Cola. Now, if you'd listed Jolt as an option, well, there'd be no contest. smiling smiley

Can't stand either of them in their non-diet form any more... too sweet.

Diet Pepsi, or diet vanilla coke.

Of course, I drink Diet Mt Dew regularly... (2-3 a day).

Iced tea. Rocks. Stirred, not shaken.

Pepsi but I'll take Iced Tea Sweetened if given the choice.

Yuck! Diet drinks are even worse, the only thing they've ever
done is make me more thristy and leave a bad taste.

Grateful11;

I used to make fun of people who said this...
But diet soda's are an acquired taste. If you drink 'em for a couple weeks, that "aftertaste" does indeed go away... and pretty soon if you drink REGULAR soda, it tastes like you're drinking syrup, sickly sweet.

Diet Coke

Diet Coke with Lime

Cherry Coke (the diet version of this is disgusting, IMHO)

Coke is made from orange extract while Pepsi is made from cherry extract. That's why Pepsi tastes so much sweeter.

Ice cold coke in small glass bottles is really fine.

Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper
Dr Pepper
Black Cherry Vanilla Coke
Vanilla Coke
Coke

But when i can find the Mexican formula of coke (the stuff with the real sugar) that tops everything.

Coke all the way. Pepsi seems too sweet to me.

Can't stand Diet Pepsi either... not a taste I want to acquire.

I tried them for over a week and it was still there for me.
