Washed out prints from iPhoto

I printed some photos today from iPhoto and they were washed out, not bright like they usually are. I dropped the same photo into preview and it printed like it should. Booted into my cloned drive and printed from iPhoto and it was nice and bright like it should be.

Now what should I try next?

What printer? Got a gamma setting in the print-settings?
