New PepsiStuff promo:

5 codes = 1 free MP3 song

Not exactly as good as the old iTunes promo where 1 code = 1 song but non-the-less, it is still free (if you drink Pepsi products).

on cans, too? we buy an occasional 12 pack of cans, but not the plastic.

Except that not every Pepsi bottle had an iTunes winning cap. Unless you tit the tilt-a-bottle cheat you usually had to buy 5 bottles before getting a freebie. So this is essentially the same promo.

Wasn't the odds like 1-in-3 with the iTunes promo? Still a little better than the current PepsiStuff promo in my opinion.

It wasn't cheating to tip the bottles. It would have been cheating to take the cap off and put it back on.
