i just now got around to watching the tape of last week's LOST.

the episode ran over and my vcr moved to taping Law & Order.

what happened with sawyer and chrissie? did the other guy kill her? was that part of Sawyer's con or was he really trying to help her get away and the attempt was foiled by his partner?

graylocks, you might want to wait a bit before asking these questions... see thread below

but, it's about last week's LOST. if i read the thread below, aren't there spoilers about this week.

i'm in Boone, Iowa at the moment. LOST didn't come on at it's usual game because of some friggin' college basketball game. it's on in a little while when the dang game is over.

OK, to quickly answer your questions:

>what happened with sawyer and chrissie?

Sawyer gave Chrissie (that was the girl, I assume) a bag of money and told her to meet up with him later -- which was a total con, the bag was empty and he had no plan to do that. He conned both her and his partner in the con.

>did the other guy kill her?

Nope

>was that part of Sawyer's con or was he really trying to help her get away and the attempt was foiled by his partner?

Nope, see above -- the car parked outside (which he told her his partner was waiting in, with the plan to come in and kill her) was empty.

Basically, Sawyer is a sleaze-- he will sell his own grandmother.

Huh? I just watched that yesterday-- how did I miss it?
I guess I'll need some remedial viewing.

I suffer from the same sensitivity that you do. A few nuggets of wisdom were shared with me and I'm "trying" to incorporate them into my life. First, remember that nobody can hurt your feelings unless you let them. You can always reject what is being forced on you emotionally.
Second, nothing changes unless you change it. If you don't want the behavior to be repeated then you need to take action. Otherwise the kid has learned that his behavior is the way to get things done, because everyone lets him get away with it.
In the meantime I sympathize because I've been there.
