Saw 115 in box WITH LightScribe last week. $60, -$15 MIR, @ MicroCenter.

Samsung Drive also -- I got one, it is LightScribe. I got the 202 (PATA). Both were $34.99 with latest Nero disk and label software for PC.

LightScribe software for Lacie will NOT see this drive under OS X -- although I was able to update via their site AND modify the file, and now it does see it.

I'm becoming aware of so many Pioneer models that ARE Lightscribe (including 107,108, 109 and 112) that I'm really surprised.

The difference may (MAY!) be a D designation instead of the BK (for black). I will let everyone know when I take the Samsung out of the case this week and reinstall the Pioneer and give it a try.

There is a small part you can SEE if you open the drive, but I couldn't budge the screw for the top of the drive and chewed it up. So I will just plug it in to determine.

Funny, Pioneer does not list the 115 as a LightScribe burner. [www.pioneerelectronics.com]

They do list 3 different internal drives, the DVR-213LS, the DVR-1910LS, & the DVR-R200 as LightScribe. [www.pioneerelectronics.com]

Here's MicroCenter's listing of Pioneers: [www.microcenter.com]

btw.... XP via VMWare didn't see the FireWire drive attached at all. All you need to do to RE-hate Winduds is open that "Add Hardware" control panel, and the expletives flow like water down the drain.
