Anyone have an ASUS Eee PC?

I like the iPod touch, but it is just too small for my needs. I love the MBA, but it is too expensive and too large for my needs. I wanted Apple to come out with a sub-notebook at MacWorld, but since they did not, I have been considering an ASUS Eee PC. Does anyone have any experience with one?

Also, I can't seem to find one listed at any of the B&M stores, only online. I would really like to be able to see one before I buy it, so does anyone know where I might find one other than online?

I would use this just for surfing and email when not at home. It runs Linux and comes with Firefox, Open Office and email software, so that should be all I would need. Any comments, advice, gripes, praise, etc. will be appreciated.

MicroC.

Expect it to not be working, because the sales people hate it, and want to upsell, not work with products that pay no commission.

Ahh, I hadn't thought of MicroCenter. Thanks.

I have one, bought it from Newegg.
No Microcenters anywhere near me, so it was a leap of faith to buy it based on reviews.

Great little machine, my GF is trying to get her boss to buy one for her.

Mac should have built this machine. Of course it would be lots more expensive and this black one would have an $500 premium.
