Who Hoo...1 gig Pismo runs great

Who says that a pismo is not worth upgrading? 1 gigs sure makes a difference. For $100 it's worth it.

Thanks OWC Larry...the dimms work great so far.

Always loved mine. Used it for my workhorse a while back there. First upgrade ever done was to max out the RAM. Enjoy!

I decided to keep mine for the moment as the ideal Firewire case - one that has a screen and battery back-up! (only 20 minutes, but that's better than zero!)

I may have someone who's giving their old pismo to me...so I'll have spare parts in case I need it. Overall, so far, with installing upgrades, surfing, and listening to itunes, I have 0 (zero) page maps outs! That's much better than the 320 megs I had before. What I can do with the extra 256meg dimm?

Mine is currently performing (flawlessly) as my iTunes server in my stereo and home theater set-up. Just wish it had Front Row and the Remote . . . bummer.

I'll take it. I's USELESS to you, and you are depriving me of happiness!
