He paid $2600. and then opened the box.

I still have an old Apple IIc and an original Apple II. The latter was one of the first 10000 Apple IIs ever made. One day I'll mount it in a plexiglass case and it it on the wall.

That guy was on one of Leo LaPorte's podcasts-- either TWiT or Mac Break Weekly.

Interesting guy, That was his first computer, so he decided he had to have another and had been trying for a NIB version. Finally succeeded.
