Why is the Apple store constantly down? Seems like every time I log on here someone says the Apple store is Down. If they are updating they would post "Site Update come back later" wouldn't they?

The Apple Store site shuts down when it makes changes to its site. They used to do this with refurbs. Now it's just for some *other* changes, sometimes minor, sometimes major.

With some exceptions, like this one, you would know why if you read the posts.


Seems like every time I log on here someone says the Apple store is Down.

Two reasons:

1) You don't log on often enough.
2) Some people think it's funny to post "Apple Store Down!" when it's not.
