I went snowboarding today and did a 180 in the air!

And I failed.

My friend was behind me and he yelled "Try a 180", which would be my first time actually trying something in the air, so I tried it, got about 179 Degrees around, and missed the landing.

The snow was cold, but it was still pretty cool.

Just because it has two clutches, shifts faster, uses a torque converter or has near-infinite gear ratios, requires less driver intervention and is more efficient doesn't make it better in my opinion.

How many points to you get for a "front side 179"?

"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion." (1987) -- Carl Sagan

Let's see, would 180 mean that if you were going forward you would then be going backward? Doing something backward is a skill, so way to go!

Years ago---when falling hurt much less than now--I was trying to learn a Helicopter on skis-a 360°, a pro gave me a tip to turn my head first in the direction I was going to rotate. It worked "like butter"
It might help you get around on the 180-Good luck!!!

Next time go for the 180 in the vertical axis. Chicks dig guys that land on their heads. It also helps to wind about ten feet of rope around your waist and hand the end to a friend just as you push off the lip. Works like a top. You'll be doing 1440's in no time.

Boy Chip this is just so misleading. Your heading says "I went snowboarding today and did a 180 in the air!" and the first thing you tell us is "got about 179 Degrees around, and missed the landing." Either you did 180 or you didn't. haha Oh, to be young and wild again.
