I ran one of the Lite-on 20X burners in my G5 for a little while. It mysteriously stopped working with my Taiyo-Yuden 8X DVD-R media: Toast gave me media errors every time no matter what I did. (Other media seemed to do okay for whatever reason.)

Ended up replacing it with a Pioneer DVR-115. Much happier now.
