So I ordered what was recommended here...[forums.macresource.com]

Specifically this...[www.allelectronics.com]

But the business end will not fit into the back of the eyehome (too big). Can I splice this power supply to my old cord? I mean, I KNOW I can, but would it work ok? I mean, its not rocket surgery right?

That's exactly what I ended up doing when I got a replacement power supply for my eyeHome. I spliced the connector from the old power supply onto the new one. Just make sure to line up the polarities correctly. From what I remember, the eyeHome want's center positive.
