so who just got buried under a foot of snow?

Wisconsinites? Looks like Chicago got mostly rain.

It's snowing here in Michigan but we'll only get half that at most. The storm is a very narrow band. It's heading east but since it's so narrow it's hard to say whether it will hit or miss you easterners.

We got hit again in SW Wisconsin, not as bad as they said it would be. They predicted 8-10 inches, we got about 6. Hey, it's only 8pm, we've still got time.

My sister and parents in the N. 'burbs of Chicago- 6-7 inches. Suburbs further north of them got about 12.

Here on the N side of the city, I think we ended up with 3 or so.

Only cold and windy here in western MA.
We had a good dusting of snow yesterday for our first day of spring but that was about it.

The 'rents are scheduled for anywhere for 8-12 inches tonight on the SE corner of THE lake. Man, I miss home! We're scheduled for about 6 but I doubt we'll see 2.

Just started here. Got 25 " in last storm and some is still on the ground. Chardon Ohio, the next town over, could be in bad shape though. They had a fire this past week and it destroyed all the snow plows. Chardon is the snow capital of Ohio. 100" plus a year is the norm. They got over 169" a few years back. Such is the life when you live in the snow belt. General rule around here is that schools don't even close unless we get over 6-8" of snow and then they still might not.

They don't close the schools here in Santa Fe, NM 'til there's at least that much on the ground as well.

We were supposed to get around 4" (north of Pittsburgh, PA). I just looked outside - street is just wet, grass is peeking through a small (1/4"?) covering of the white stuff. Forecast says 50 degrees a couple days next week - maybe Spring really is here!

I think I will just put an OUT OF ORDER

Got about 6 inches in NE Ohio. One of the local towns had their entire fleet of snowplows burn up when their municipal garage caught fire on Monday. They had to rush around and borrow equipment from other towns.

It's melting off the roads already. I don't even have to run the snowblower.

That's one nie thing about Spring snow.
Although sometimes they can be heavy amounts, that sun is bright and the temps are usually warm, the next day.
