Same Day
----
256MB PC133 CL3 168 Pin SDRam for ALL PowerMac G4 Models 350-1GHz*, G4 Cube, all iMac 350MHz to 700Mhz models, eMac 700MHz to 1GHz. Lifetime Warranty! *Original G4 PCI Graphics, aka G4' Yikes' 350-400MHz models not included. (OWC133SD256328) more info... $25.49

I suffer from the same sensitivity that you do. A few nuggets of wisdom were shared with me and I'm "trying" to incorporate them into my life. First, remember that nobody can hurt your feelings unless you let them. You can always reject what is being forced on you emotionally.
Second, nothing changes unless you change it. If you don't want the behavior to be repeated then you need to take action. Otherwise the kid has learned that his behavior is the way to get things done, because everyone lets him get away with it.
In the meantime I sympathize because I've been there.

Looks like the first one has been tested/verified at 133 and is backward compatible to 100.

The second one is only 133. You need to know if they can use the 133 speed.

Otherwise, basically the same.

I have PC-133 "ONLY" RAM in my two iMac G3s which take PC-100, and my Powermac G4 that takes PC-100.

I keep forgetting to tell the computers that they should NOT be able to use the RAM, but I've been too busy.

I have bought and used successfully the second item in many of my customer's PCs. It is backward compatible with PC100 style memory. I would buy them by the dozen when they were on sale. Never had a bad one either.

The SD256168 parts are built with 16 devices, 16x8 each.

The SD256328 parts are built with 8 devices, 16x16 or 32x8 each.

The 2nd part is higher density and works only with newer memory controllers used in 2000 and later (depending on PC... Macs yr2000 and later that use 168 pin SD A-OK with the higher density).

So - the latter should be fine assuming the pavillon is from 2000 or later. The former part is universal with any machine that takes PC66/100/133 SDRAM 168 pin regardless.
