Follow Up To Bad Samaritan Camera Story

A few days ago I posted a link to a story about a woman who lost her camera while on vacation in Hawaii and of the unnamed Canadian family that found it, but refuses to return it because doing so would upset their son, who has grown attached to it.

Now a mysterious Canadian "lawer" has threatened to sue Boing Boing over blogging about the story.
Update via Boing Boing: [www.boingboing.net]

It's a pretty entertaining saga.

Gotta be someone from the family who has the camera, probably the dad.

Typically, females wouldn't do that sort of thing (bluff). And if they did, they would spell check.

I have seen irate, petty and vindictive women lashing out, but this is a bit more controlled.

Just another reason to invade Canada besides the natural resources. That's nasty. Giving your son stolen property because he has become "attached" to it?

I can't believe how quick some of you are to engage in jingoist bashing, as if Canadians were more predisposed to crime than we are. Grow up, already.

LOL-

The "lawer" said, "As Queens Council in Canada I would be more that willing to represent anyone in Canada who is named on your site in a deflamorty way..."

I try hard not to say deflamorty stuff!

At the very least, ought to use a spell checker.
