I don't know what to think about that. The only Waffle Houses I've seen have looked...well, seedy. Never in a good area of town either.

I don't know - they do have a good jukebox but it is always playing, so I have never had to put money in it.

Whatever you do be careful about trying to order right at "shift change".

One night, I was in Atlanta, staying near the Airport and there was a Waffle House up the road from our seedy motel. We went in and tortured the waitresses by playing the Waffle House song over and over again.

One of our Waffle Houses just lost several current and past employees to an assault and attempted murder--by the employees!

Pretty awful story of the wife of the cook being beaten, sexually assaulted, drugged and left for dead by 4 or 5 others (including her husband). Fortunately she didn't die and was found in the freezing cold, undressed and incoherent.

I guess they're looking for a new cook. I won't be visiting that particular Waffle House for a while...

According to legend, there's at least one city block in Atlanta that has a Waffle House on every corner.

One of my old college roommates works in their corporate office, and he refuses to either confirm or deny (which probably means he doesn't know)...

There is one in Tucson. You could road trip?

There are four in Tucson. Can't hardly swing a cat without hitting a Waffle House.
